Meet the Artists & Book Signing Event

Saturday 13 August at Jo Downs' Launceston studio gallery

In celebration of her 20^th year in business, fused-glass artist Jo Downs will be welcoming visitors to her Launceston studio gallery and signing copies of her book 'Coastal Reflections' from 10am to 12pm on Saturday 13th August.

Available exclusively from Jo Downs galleries, this full colour coffee table book pairs imagery of Jo's most inspirational work with a fascinating artist interview, and will be on sale for £10, discounted from the usual £15, on the day.

Accompanying this event is a one-day-only sale of ‘Nearly Perfect' pieces straight from Jo's studio kilns, including everything from small hangings to large feature bowls.

As always Jo's gallery will be brimming with all of her distinctive and best loved ranges along with the all new Jo Downs Jute Bag collection, including her Limited Edition 20th Year bag. Her handmade giftware includes gorgeous glass hangings, bowls, mirrors, coasters and seasonal gifts alongside uniquely beautiful statement interior pieces such as wall panels, art frames and multi piece installations. And this summer, as part of her 20^th year promotions and events, Jo Downs customers will be offered the chance to enter a free draw to win a multi piece collection from her iconic Cornish Pilchards range, which includes a gorgeous mirror, feature bowl and signed art frame.

Jo Downs Handmade Glass

One of the world's most prominent fused glass artists, British designer Jo Downs' handcrafted work is inspired by the coastal setting of her Cornwall galleries. Jo's range of beautiful giftware includes coasters, bowls, hangings, candle holders and seasonal gifts, alongside her much sought after statement interior pieces such as wall panels and art frames.

Jo has also developed her studio to undertake larger architectural and interior projects. Her innovative designs have earned her commissions for cruise liners, hotels, churches and corporate headquarters. She has also created hundreds of private commissions, producing fused glass windows, mirrors, wall panels and other artworks for homes around the world.
