APPLIED DRIVING TECHNIQUES INTRODUCES LONE WORKER SAFETY SOLUTION

Applied Driving Techniques (ADT), the leading provider of fleet compliance and risk management solutions, has launched a lone worker safety offering to help assess, mitigate and manage the threats and hazards facing remote and vulnerable employees. It will include a range of solutions across all auditing and analysis, risk management and training requirements to ensure vehicle operators are meeting their legal and Duty of Care obligations.

A variety of solutions will be available to meet the individual needs of directors, managers and lone workers as a standalone service or as part of a wider driver and fleet management proposition. In particular, a fully-managed, end-to-end solution will design, implement and manage an effective lone worker strategy on behalf of customers. This will not only include a best practice audit, but also create tailored lone worker policy and management procedures as well as deliver the necessary risk mitigation, intervention and training.

The audit will review how lone worker safety is managed and recommend the necessary improvements needed to ensure a fully compliant solution is in place. This extensive appraisal will cover the effectiveness and suitability of lone worker identification, employee assessments, safety management systems and emergency response planning. Meanwhile, lone worker safety workshops for employees will target and address key areas of risk, while management seminars, designed specifically for directors and senior managers, provides an overview of the legal requirements involved in managing lone worker safety.
