Active Products Launch New Range of Flood Alert Products.

Since 2000, flood damage has increased in the UK by 200% and the need for people to protect their homes from the threat of flooding is unfortunately now greater than ever. With more than 500,000 people and 1 in 6 homes currently at risk from flooding, there exists a demand for flood protection products  to help protect people's homes from rising water.

Essex based Active Products is catering to this demand and have established themselves as one of the leading innovators in flood-protection technology. Active Products Flood Alert products offer a simple yet effective range of domestic use products with the purpose of preventing water from entering into people's homes. Their range has proven to be very popular in flood stricken areas with new products now being released onto the market this autumn.

The range includes a variety of innovative products designed to provide highly effective barriers to flood water that are easily and quickly deployed and affordable.

Two of Active Products' new Flood Alert designs, the airbrick cover (to prevent water entering homes through vent bricks) and a door barrier (a barrier placed in the frames of doorways) have both been awarded the industry Kitemark for flood protection.

The new range also includes the Expanding Hydro Sack and the Expanding Hydro Snake, both of which expand when they come into contact with water, forming moldable barriers while also absorbing water.

Other popular products in the range include the Toilet Panseal that covers the toilet and prevents any waste water from backing up with rising flood water.
