illbruck brings solutions for A-rated windows to Network VEKA

 One of the highlights of the year for many window installers was a visit to the
FIT Show, the window industry's very own exhibition, this year held in Telford.

One of the highlights of the year for many window installers was a visit to the FIT Show, the window industry's very own exhibition, this year held in Telford. As one of the larger exhibitors, illbruck welcomed a substantial number of visitors onto its stand, attracted by being able to see working models and live demonstrations of its installation systems for domestic A-Rated windows.

With the aid of a fully-qualified window installer, videos, and models, illbruck demonstrated all aspects of window installation, hammering home the message that new solutions are available that allow the maximum benefits to be obtained when installing replacement uPVC and other A-Rated systems.

One visitor who viewed the demonstrations and discussed the products in more depth was Managing Director of Network VEKA, John Ogilvie, who explained, "We were impressed by how illbruck's technology delivered great advantages to the homeowner, yet still the windows could be fitted more quickly. illbruck's Trio provides not only a robust weather seal; it also provides thermal, acoustic and airtight benefits" commented John.

Network VEKA is always looking at promoting best practice in window installation and has recently carried out seminars to assist almost 400 Assure members' fitters and surveyors in gaining certification for Minimum Technical Competencies (MTCs), as now required by the Department for Communities and Local Government.

After the show, further discussions have taken place to examine all the attributes of the illbruck system and what benefits using these products could bring to Network VEKA members. 

"With contemporary A-rated window systems offered by Network VEKA, it is vital that the long-term cost saving benefits are not undermined, and the performance of the fitting system at the perimeter of the window is key to this. Following on from this, illbruck is now delighted to announce that the company is an affiliated member of Network VEKA and is looking forward to promoting their products further to over 140 Network VEKA Members and 700 installers.
