Dr Sohère Roked to host launch event for The Tiredness Cure

Dr Sohère Roked, one of the UK’s leading holistic doctors and GPs, is hosting a launch event for her debut book, The Tiredness Cure: How to beat fatigue and feel great for good. The event will take place from 6.30pm on Tuesday 25 November 2014 at the Marion Gluck Clinic, 61 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 8AH.   

After greeting guests at a drinks reception, Dr Roked will discuss the theories she explores in the book. Following her presentation, she will be available for a question & answer and book signing session. 

Looking ahead to the event, Dr Roked said: “I am very excited to launch The Tiredness Cure at the Marion Gluck Clinic. The book is already proving a great success and I am looking forward to meeting some of the readers personally.”                                                                              

Throughout the book, Dr Roked empowers readers to restore their energy levels through their diet and exercise regimes. Key themes include dietary supplements, hormonal balance and improved gut health.

The Tiredness Cure: How to beat fatigue and feel great for good explores themedical causes of tiredness and the effects of stress on energy levels. There are tips on fighting sugar addiction and many healthy, energy-boosting recipes. These are suitable for all occasions and range from juice and smoothie recipes to salads and hot dishes for lunch or dinner.

The Marion Gluck Clinic in London, where Dr Roked practises, provides therapies to restore optimal health and hormonal balance.

Dr Marion Gluck, a medical doctor in Hamburg, has worked across the world as a women’s health specialist. She is recognised as one of the top 250 private doctors in the UK for her pioneering treatment of hormonal imbalances using natural bio-identical hormones.

About the author

Dr Sohère Roked studied medicine at the University of Southampton. Her research study, Fecal Calprotectin In Children With Chronic Gastrointestinal Symptoms, was published before she graduated in 2003. Dr Roked went on to work at hospitals across England and Wales in A&E, general medicine, surgery, women’s health and otolaryngology. She also worked as a psychiatrist before becoming a GP.

A former student of the British College of Integrative Medicine, Dr Roked learned from experts in the UK, Australia and the USA. She has advised - and been featured in - major publications including The Sun, the Daily Mail, Woman’s Weekly, Fabulous, Marie Claire and Healthy.

Dr Roked conducts a thorough initial consultation with every client and examines several health indicators to assess the individual as a whole. These include nutrition, fitness, stress and digestive health. Dr Roked also looks for potential chemical imbalances, parasites, toxicity, chronic inflammation and body acidification.
