Guestline have launched a new training course to enable hotels to cleanse and improve their systems in readiness for the New Year.

The ‘System MOT' courses have been designed for hotels to streamline their current property management and distribution systems and get acquainted with the latest functionality to maximise efficiency for the year ahead. Aimed at General Managers, Revenue Managers, Front of House staff and new starters, hotels will learn how to tidy the database and remove unwanted codes; add new analysis codes where needed and increase revenue through the channels and online bookings.

For a limited time period, hotels can benefit from a special deal on ‘System MOTs' taking place onsite at hotels in December and January. The trainer will enable the staff to evaluate current procedures and recommend efficiencies to improve operations and make best use of the system. They will instigate effective work flows for the Front of House team and review current PCI and banking procedures.

The small tweaks we have made as a result have already had a positive impact on operations and we will continue to instigate changes as per the trainer's recommendations.'
