Infrarad's infrared is the heating of choice for warehouse and showroom owners

Solving the notoriously difficult problem of heating warehouse and large showrooms, Infrarad's Slimline Power Heaters are proving their worth for numerous businesses. The electric heaters provide radiant infrared heat in the same way as the sun with the infrared rays heating the solid objects they land on, including the occupants of the room, with very little of the heat being lost even when doors are frequently opened and closed.

Many UK premises have installed Infrarad's Slimline Power Heaters and these are just three examples.

IFillYa Kitchens & Bathrooms in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, was going to install conventional radiators in the firms 3,000 sq. ft showroom but the installation cost savings alone were enough to convince the owner that installing five Infrarad heaters was a better option.

Jason Ifill says: "You can feel the heat and it's maintained despite the fact there's very little insulation in the building. The quality of heat is comfortable not like the dry heat with central heating. We're pleased with the route we've gone and it's certainly a lot easier and quicker than putting central heating in."

At the Oxford showroom of UK Bathroom Warehouses, 12 power heaters have been installed in the new 6,000 sq. ft showroom warehouse. Director Steve Freeland comments: "The installation was straightforward and they're an elegant form of heating compared to other options. They're silent and a lot more pleasing on the eye than the big blowers you have normally."

In Hemel Hempstead, Ebberns, which sells kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, was experiencing ‘horrendous' gas bills due to its 4,000 sq. ft showroom being heated by an out of date system. To replace this, six Infrarad power heaters have been installed.

Tony Barber, managing director, says: "The warmth they generate is fantastic and we can regulate the heat really well, the heat just emanates through the building. We're pleased and they're certainly doing the job."

Infrarad's Slimline Power Heaters are available with four outputs - 1000w, 1800w, 2400w and 3200w - and run on a standard 240v system. Each unit comes with a fully-programmable thermostat and a remote control for ease of operation.
