"LET'S STICK TOGETHER" SAYS CAMDEN'S MAYOR AS HE INVITES
THE WHOLE COMMUNITY TO BRIDGE THE GAP

‘Bridge The Gap' is a new community project culminating in a day of music and celebration on Thursday 28thMay, 1pm-8pm in Camden Market.

 This event will showcase the new Community Day, led by the Mayor of Camden, Lazzaro Pietragnoli and backed by the Founding Patron of a leading interfaith charity, Fayre Share Foundation, Maurice Ostro OBE.

 This one-day event will include performances across various cultures and backgrounds showcasing different talent through the common unity of people trying to make a change for the better and bridging the gaps across faith, gender, age and race.

 Performances from singer/ songwriter  Luke Slott, Hip Hop artist  KidWondr,rapper, producer, song writer and a spoken word artist   Minklesand ‘Dark Tropical' singer Songwriter   Gizmo Varillastoname but a few will entertain the crowds throughout the day.

Faith Leaders and Philanthropists Launch New Community Day

Bridge The Gap - Camden Market, Thursday 28th May 2015

Led by the Mayor of Camden, Lazzaro Pietragnoli and backed by the Founding Patron of a leading interfaith charity, Fayre Share Foundation, Maurice Ostro OBE.  The ‘Bridge The Gap' project has been promoted by clergy and faith leaders of all faiths in Camden, including St Mary's Church, Faiths Forum for London and South Hampstead Synagogue, with one common goal: to encourage an openness amongst people of all faiths/no faith and backgrounds living and working in Camden and beyond.

This one-day event will include performances across various cultures and backgrounds showcasing different talent through the common unity of people trying to make a change for the better and bridging the gaps across faith, gender, age and race.

 Acts performing on the day include musicians, choirs and poets from across a variety of different cultures and special guests.

Project sponsors and supporters include; Camden Council, Camden Unlimited, Fayre Share Foundation, Faiths Forum for London, Camden Lock Market with many small businesses also supporting the event.

More About Bridge The Gap

 This project brings together various members of clergy and philanthropists from in and around the borough of Camden, including Fayre Share Foundation, St Mary's Church, Faiths Forum for London and South Hampstead Synagogue.

 The Mayor (Lazzaro Pietragnoli) and Mayoress (Daniela Pears) of Camden together with Camden Council support this project.
