Introducing Claire Peake as the New Employer Engagement Officer at Steps to Work!

 

Steps to Work is proud to announce the appointment of Claire Peake as the newest member of the team, taking on the role of Employer Engagement Officer. With a background in building strategic partnerships and driving workforce development initiatives, Claire brings a unique blend of skills and experience to her new position.

 

Steps to Work is a charitable organisation dedicated to assisting individuals who encounter barriers and obstacles in their lives. Their mission is to support those facing challenges and empower them to overcome these obstacles, enabling them to create better opportunities for themselves.

 

Claire Peake joined Steps to Work in March and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Reflecting on her experience so far, Claire shared, "Since starting, I feel like a really valued team member and welcomed from day one. Steps encourages me to share my ideas and best practices, enabling me to work with all my prime stakeholders for the best outcomes."

 

Claire's proven ability to connect with employers and understand their needs, combined with her dedication to supporting individuals in their career journeys, makes her an asset to Steps to Work. Her passion for creating opportunities and fostering collaboration aligns perfectly with the organisation's commitment to empowering individuals through sustainable employment solutions.

 

With a diverse background in supporting individuals in their employment journey, Claire has held various roles such as an employment coach, business manager for welfare-to-work and NEETs contracts, and curriculum manager for employability in Further Education. Her two-year tenure as an Employer Engagement Officer has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to work directly with companies, creating new local opportunities for the community.
