Hill Engineering moves up a gear with new head of commercial

Former McLaren business manager Alex Holmes joins Hill Engineering as head of commercial.

Specialist plant machinery attachments manufacturer Hill Engineering has moved into the fast lane with the appointment of a former McLaren global network development manager as their head of commercial.

Alex Holmes joins the County Down-based business after eight years with the automotive giant and a total of 11 years in automotive specialism.

A Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of Portsmouth, Alex will head up Hill's commercial and sales functions in the business, including the sales support and aftersales teams at the factory.

His remit to drive future growth for the Hill brand and explore new markets and commercial opportunities, both domestically and internationally, will also focus on customer service.

Alex said: "I am very excited to be bringing to my new role at Hill a collaborative approach to all initiatives and combining strong stakeholder relationship management with a data led focus to delivering the results they are looking for."
