Grenada is one of the best regions in the Caribbean for diving, with more than 30 sites, reefs, walls and wrecks. The largest ship wreck in the Caribbean Sea, The Bianca C, burned and sank just outside St. Georges' Harbour in 1961. This Italian luxury liner is encrusted with corals and is not only the largest but is considered the prize site in the Caribbean. Another must-see is British Artist Jason Taylor's underwater sculpture park at Moliniere Bay -Jason de Caires Taylor. The sculptures in Molinere Bay are extraordinary and disturbing at the same time. The bizarre and wonderful sculpture park, which includes the lone correspondent, a figure of a man sat at a typewriter and the scary she-devil, a Caribbean folk-lore.
A chartered deep-sea fishing day excursion, complete with an experienced captain will take guests to the best places for White Marlin; Blue Marlin and Sailfish. And should guests decide to take their holiday the last week of January, they can coincide the trip with the annual Spiceisle Billfish Tournament, which attracts anglers from around the world hoping to break records.
Back at Mount Cinnamon, where the boutique resort overlooks Grand Anse Beach, an early morning run along the undulating three mile beach rounded off with a yoga session is an invigorating way to start the day and all before breakfast!
Mount Cinnamon offers discerning guests the ultimate Caribbean resort experience. 22 suites and villas provide spacious accommodation, all with magnificent garden settings, offering undisturbed privacy - ideal to get away from it.
