Naomi Richards, the UK's first lifecoachfor children and author of ‘The Parent's Toolkit' (Random House, 2012) explains why this landmark new book is imperative in 2016:"The issues covered are so relevant today and what we have attempted to do is to get children to identify with the stories and anecdotes and think - ‘that child is like me and they managed to solve the problem I have'. They need to know they're not alone and that situations can change for the better. All the stories, which are short and highly topical are easy to read and understand and are light with a serious undertone. They are aimed to get children to think about problem solving."

Co-authorJulia Hague, who was bullied as a child at school and then college, adds:"If I can help just one child to feel different or to cope, or to stop bullying others themselves, then my job is done."

Created for education...

‘Being Me (And Loving It)' is designed as a dynamic, multifaceted resource to be used with groups of children in PSHE lessons, in one-to-one settings or at home. This book is a useful and powerful resource for parents, teachers, school counsellors, therapists and youth workers.
