Bournemouth Jazz Festival 2016 - Press Invitation

Bournemouth Jazz Festival will be announcing plans for the 2016 Festival at a press conference on Monday 25^th January in The Miramar Hotel at 11am.

It will be an opportunity to hear about our exciting programme line up and innovative purpose built Jazz Village which will be part of the Bournemouth Jazz Festival taking place over the weekend 22^nd- 24^th April.

The festival will open on Friday 22^ndApril with a ticketed concert featuring a number of well known jazz musicians.

On Saturday 23^rdApril there will be a headline concert with internationally recognised jazz musicians, Ginger Baker and Andy Sheppard.

On Sunday 24^thApril, The Pavilion Ballroom will be the venue for a series of jazz workshops, schools competition and awards ceremony in the evening.

Throughout the weekend, there will be live performances at various locations, including free jazz sessions in our purpose built jazz village in the town centre as well as in streets, shops and arcades around town.

In addition, this year's programme will feature a world jazz jamboree and a variety of themed jazz events in hotels, bars and restaurants around the town.
