Expansion plans for East Yorkshire Stately Home
Exciting plans have been announced for the 2016 season at Sledmere House.
Building on the successful opening of the Stables and events like the Musical Firework Display in 2015, the management team has announced further expansion plans for 2016.
The exciting developments include taking over the William's Farm Kitchen farm shop, running the popular Terrace Café and an extensive series of family friendly events that will be staged throughout the year.
Speaking about the 2016 season, Stephen Greenfield, Resident Agent at Sledmere House said:"We're delighted to be taking over the running of the Farm Shop and Terrace Café following a very successful first year of trading. We plan to build on the foundations that William's Farm Kitchen founder, Mark Farnsworth and the team have laid and to grow the shop and café alongside our events programme."
Mark Farnsworth said: "I am delighted that Stephen is picking up the running of the shop and café. We are proud that the Farm Shop concept has worked so well at Sledmere and look forward to seeing it grow and develop further under Stephen's management team."
In addition to running William's Farm Kitchen at Hornsea Freeport and Tong Garden Centre in Bradford, Mr Farnsworth will be employed in an advisory capacity at Sledmere throughout the handover period.
