MINI 1.5 Cooper D 5-door Hatch judged Best Compact SME Company Car
MINI Cooper D Hatch 5dr voted Best Compact SME Company Car
Independent SME Company Car of the Year Awards run by Business Car Manager
Supported by Fleet Alliance, an award winning supplier of company car leasing to SMEs
The new MINI Hatch 5dr is the Best Compact SME Company Car for 2016, according to the latest Business Car Manager SME Company Car of The Year Awards.
Supported by Fleet Alliance, an award-winning supplier of company car leasing to SMEs, the SME Company Car of the Year identifies the best cars, and the best company car programmes available for the SME business sector.
The MINI is already a great fun to drive package, but with the new five-door practicality and exceptional fuel economy, it's transformed the MINI for business..
Drivers will pay as little as £48 per month in company car tax, with lease deals available for as little as £162.75 per month on a three-year/30,000-mile deal.
Company car expert and category judge, Colin Tourick, said: "The MINI offers a heady mix of features from impressive low CO2 emissions, fuel-sipping economy, impressive spec and warranty package to excellent whole life costs and low tax. With practical five-door styling, this Cooper D emits just 95g/km of CO2, so it qualifies for the 100% write-down allowance in the first year and yet is great fun to drive."
Ralph Morton, the website's editorial director, added: "It's critical that small businesses and SME firms running company cars get the expert help that they require. These Awards highlight the best cars as well as company car and support programmes to make life easier for the SME director charged with looking after the company car programme."
The SME Company Car of the Year Awards were judged by an independent panel of experts:
Paul Hollick, commercial director of The Miles Consultancy (TMC), and chairman of the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) - chair of the judges.
Martin Brown, managing director, Fleet Alliance
Steve Cocks, director broker division, Lex Autolease
Andy Brown, managing director, CD Auction Group
Colin Tourick, Grant Thornton professor of automotive management, University of Buckingham
