Do you really think you're too old for love? Leading love expert says finding love after 40 might not be so hard after all
London 4.2.16
Everyone always complains that it is so hard to find love after the age of 40 but leading love guruKathryn Alicedispels that myth and has proof that no one is too old for love.
Many fans of Channel 4's "First Dates" watched with great compassion as a beautiful woman in her 40s walked out of the post-date debrief when her date told her the many reasons why he wasn't attracted to her. She could not see that the problem was with him and was convinced that it was her age that was stopping her from finding love. She spoke for so many women who lack the confidence or belief that they will find love over 40. She was convinced that she was "past it".
Kathryn who is a best-selling author of numerous books, includingLove Will Find You , who has helped literally thousands of people of all ages, find love, could not disagree more with this sentiment and believes that love will find us no matter how old we are.
She has some insight into what it's like dating for grownups and why finding love after 40 might not be as difficult as many people think it is. She knows what she is talking about, Kathryn has been so successful at helping people find love that she has a wall of weddings in her office and an endless supply of happily ever after stories to prove her point.
Kathryn believes that the main thing we need to do is work on our inner selves to attract and manifest the love we want and deserve. Her books, online courses and many free online seminars have really helped people make that inner shift that has brought love into their lives, whatever their age. With many clients in their 70s and 80s finding love.
"My book begins with the story of a woman who remarried -- out of a support group full of women of every age -- at age 65. She was first in the group to find love and inspired the others to successfully find partners. I have many examples, from age 50 up to age 80, to back up this theory - these stories are heartwarming and should give everybody hope", says Kathryn.
"While I have love stories from every age, we have had a rash of women 50+ getting married, some for the first time, including a wedding in 3 weeks here in LA. It's a first time marriage, a real fairytale story. I truly believe everyone can have this, whatever their age or circumstance. My premise is that women who are older know more what they want, are independent, not at all needy, and never take love for granted when it comes.
"The one great thing about looking for love later in life is that we often know ourselves better than when we were young, we have had a few bumps and bruises along the way and are hopefully clear about what we want from a partner. Once we do the inner work the rest usually takes care of itself", says Kathryn.
