NEW PROMOTIONS FOR BISHOP FLEMING PLYMOUTH

The Plymouth office of Top 40 accountants Bishop Fleming has announced two promotions.

Jon Sparkes, a Senior Tax Manager in the Business Tax team has been promoted to Tax Director, while Steve Tucker of the Business Services team has been promoted to Senior Manager.

Jon Sparkes has nearly 20 years' experience of working with owner-managed businesses in Devon on tax matters, particularly advising corporate businesses on areas such as Research & Development Tax Credits. Jon also works closely with charity and not for profit clients on their tax affairs. Outside of work, Jon is a committed volunteer in local sport, being treasurer of his local cricket club Ivybridge and Finance Director of Devon Cricket Board Limited.

Steve Tucker has over 30 years' experience with the firm and specialises in advising businesses and their owners, many of which are in the healthcare sector, across Plymouth and Devon.

Charlie Thomson, Managing Partner of the Plymouth office, said: "With the local economy gathering pace, we have seen increasing demand for our services and at the same time as we are recruiting we have a strong commitment to developing our own people".
