RUSHDEN LAKES ADVISORS ANNOUNCE NEW APPOINTMENTS AND LONDON OFFICE

Projex Building Solutions has launched a new London office which will focus on delivering client-focused building consultancy services to the important South East marketplace.

David Willson, a projects director at former international property developer Parkridge Developments has been appointed to head the office. He has spent the past six years providing tailored development consultancy through his own business, Quoinstone Property Limited.

He is joined by associate director, Iain Mason, who has spent the past twenty years building significant portfolio experience for major international consultancies, most recently the WT Partnership where he specialised in the high-end residential sector.

As well as advising developers such as Land Securities, on a range of asset management opportunities involving their existing retail schemes across the UK, Projex is also working on some of the UK's most exciting new retail and leisure developments for clients such as IM Properties, Lxb, Moorgarth and Wrenbridge. These include developments at Rushden Lakes Shopping Park, Mell Square Solihull, Broad Street Mall Reading, and Bromsgrove Retail Park.

Projex was founded in 2008 and now employs 30 people across its three offices in Solihull, Leeds and London.

Joint managing director Phil Tomalin commented: "This is a very significant investment for us and a natural extension for our business, enabling us to provide a closer and more effective service to our many London-based clients. It builds on our considerable expertise in the retail and mixed use sector where we have successfully delivered over £100M of schemes in the last five years and are now looking to deliver a further £300M of schemes over the next two year period.

David Willson said: "It is an exciting time to join Projex, which is seen as an entrepreneurial and ambitious consultancy. I share the same vision and qualities as the Projex team and I am extremely impressed by the growth and success they have enjoyed so far. I believe that we are uniquely placed to provide a combination of strategic advice and practical experience of major project delivery to a wide range of clients in all sectors.
