Warwickshire Entrepreneur's TV Moment
A local small business owner has appeared on national TV to share her views on the impact of Brexit and the chancellor's Autumn Statement.
Jude Jennison, who is co-founder of The Leadership Whisperers a leadership training company based in Moreton Morrell. appeared on BBC 2's popular news and current affairs programme the Victoria Derbyshire Show (23rd November 2016), representing the West Midlands. She was part of an expert panel, made up of just four business owners drawn from across the UK, who were invited to contribute.
Jude was asked to comment on the impact that Brexit has had on her business, the challenges her own business is facing and the opportunities it might offer.
Jude commented, "It was hugely exciting to be invited onto the Victoria Derbyshire Show and to experience the inner workings of the BBC at first hand.
"I had the opportunity to give my advice, as a leadership coach on how businesses of all sizes should approach the current uncertainty brought about by Brexit. We discussed the need to be flexible, creative and adaptable and also touched on the fact that small businesses have an advantage in that they can be more agile and flexible; so are well placed to capitalise on the current political situation and use it as an opportunity to find new markets.
The Victoria Derbyshire Show is broadcast daily on BBC 2 between 9am and 12pm and attracts around 100,000 viewers.
