Christmas shopping needn't be a pain thanks to a free screening service at Yeovil's Resolution Treatment Centre

To celebrate the addition of a new daily chiropractic service at the Yeovil based Resolution Treatment Centre,Yeovil Chiropractic @ Resolutionis offering a free screening service throughout December.

Shoppers unsure of when to consult a chiropractor should know that the time is right when Christmas shopping causes a real pain in the neck or back ache strikes half way up Middle Street or knees start to twinge on the way to the Quedam. Sometimes just carrying the bags back to the car can aggravate a tennis elbow or trying on a new winter coat can make your shoulder hurt.

If a trip to Yeovil town centre is a musculoskeletal minefield, then this new central service is the answer to helping those aches and pains. Within a few yards of the clock tower, the Resolution Treatment Centre has always benefitted from its convenient location and excellent public transport links and it now offers daily chiropractic cover in addition to its dental, counseling and facial aesthetic services.

The decision to add physical therapy to its portfolio rose out a successful collaboration with Yeovil Chiropractic Clinic - for the last four years orthodontist, Mark Brickley, and chiropractor, Martin Young, have directed a specialist monthly multidisciplinary Headache Clinic together with psychotherapist Judith O'Hagan.

So why the need for another clinic, in addition to those clinics in Sherborne Road, Crewkerne and Beaminster?

"We now have over ten thousand patients on our books," explained Martin Young, who joined the practice in 1998. "We can see the point at which the existing Yeovil clinic will reach capacity and, as the town expands, travel time is getting longer. It made sense to have a presence in the town centre and Resolution provides a great environment in which to work alongside other dedicated healthcare professionals."
