Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair is the ideal opportunity to source beautiful and original gifts with a vast range waiting to be discovered all in one place.

An avalanche of seasonal decorating ideas awaits; from gorgeous garlands and beautiful baubles, to glassware and scented candles - the difficult thing will be choosing what to buy.

The fashion-conscious visitor can indulge in evening and designer daywear not found on the high street, as well as unique accessories including bags, purses and jewellery.

The Art of Craft

In this year'sFood Theatre, pick up culinary tips to create the perfect festive feast with demonstrations from top Scottish chefs Mark Greenaway of Restaurant Mark Greenaway, Neil Forbes of Cafe St Honoré and Craig Sandle of The Pompadour by Galvin.

Multi-award-winning chocolatier Fiona Sciolti of Sciolti Chocolates will enlighten audiences as to the mysterious ways of the artisan chocolate-maker. Fiona creates extraordinary chocolates using real fruits, flowers, teas and herbs many of which are sourced from growers and suppliers local to her.

Lifestyle Theatre

New for 2013 is theLifestyle Theatrewhich offers expert advice on how to make the most of your home, garden and more over the Christmas period.

Author and home-maker Cherry Menlove will share a wealth of ideas for individual table settings for festive dining - from country chic to candles and glass - she'll inspire every home, taste and budget. Scotland's festive front doors will never be the same again after Cherry demonstrates her magical techniques for creating the iconic Christmas wreath using unusual materials and methods and brand-new Christmas colour palettes.

Meanwhile, home-craft expert and writer Karon Grieve will demonstrate how to make all-natural simmer pots and pot pourri to keep your home smelling fabulous throughout Christmas and beyond without breaking the bank. The BBC Radio Scotland regular will also show how to create home-made goodies for that perfect Christmas hamper.

No Christmas gift-giver should miss the gift-wrapping demonstrations from expert Jane Means. Packed with tips on how to tackle awkward shapes and make your gifts look stunning on a tight budget, her classes are a festive essential.

Workshop Theatre

Over in theWorkshop Theatrevisitors can get hands-on with classes to inspire and teach everyone from the enthusiastic amateur to the more experienced crafter. This is the perfect place to pick up a new skill or hobby.

About Country Living Fairs

The Country Living Fair began nearly 30 years ago with a spring edition in London, and soon afterwards, a Christmas edition was launched.In 2004, a spring edition was launched in Glasgow, which was changed to a Christmas fair in 2008. The Glasgow show has grown significantly since its inception and now boasts over 300 exhibitors, and attracts approximately 17,000 visitors a year.The fair showcases new and upcoming talent, giving unique craftspeople a platform to showcase their goods to high-spending individuals who travel from all over the country to visit. Visitors can choose from a selection of home and garden ware, arts and crafts, regional food and drink, and the latest fashion and accessories.

In 2012, the Harrogate Christmas Fair was introduced, attracting a massive 15,000 in its launch year.
