The story behind Textcards is one of a successful small business seeing a gap in the market and creating a way to fill it. Textcard creator Darren Garland created his own greetings cards which were sold on a small market stall run with his sister.

He says: "It all started when I used my phone to take a picture of one of my custom-made cards and texted it to a friend. I wondered why there wasn't a company that offered a service like this already!' 

Realising that an easy to use digital equivalent could be successful, Darren pursued his dream of making the process of sending a greeting different, instant and unique, with Textcards as the result!
