New lift adaptor launched at Coach and Bus Live

A new adaptor system designed for lifting smaller vehicles, including fleet support vans, attracted interest from a wide range of operators at the recent Coach and Bus Live show at the NEC.

The Light Vehicle Adaptor (LVA) was launched at the show by heavy-duty lift specialist SOMERSTOTALKARE, and the firm's Sales and Marketing Director James Radford said the new product provides a simple solution for companies that run mixed fleets.

"The adaptor is designed to be operated with two of our existing S6cf and S6ng column lifts, avoiding the need to buy additional workshop lifts for smaller vehicles," he explained.

"With a safe working load of 4,000kg it is ideal for many bus and coach firms' use for service and breakdown operations, or for operators that use their workshops for other types of vehicle repairs."

The system comes complete with its own trolley to assist with set up and storage. Its platforms can also be directly attached to the lift columns from the trolley, making set up even easier.

James continued: "The show provided a real success for us, enabling potential customers to get a close up look at our lifts in action on our new, eye-catching exhibition stand.

"The launch of the LVA was one of the highlights and it demonstrated how we are listening to the needs of our customers and developing innovative, cost-effective solutions for them."
