                                                                   Lifts for new Dennis Eagle depot

The UK's largest manufacturer of waste and recycling trucks has invested around £20,000 in new heavy-duty vehicle lifts from Halesowen-based SOMERSTOTALKARE.

Dennis Eagle has taken delivery of a set of six S6ng mobile column lifts for it's new Winchester depot after securing a new contract to supply and Maintain vehicles used for waste collection and recycling across two local authority areas.

Serving the Winchester and Portsmouth councils the depot will maintain a total of 49 new trucks, including the latest Elite 2 Euro 5 6 x 2 RS vehicles and the new lift will play a vital role in the operation.

Brian Young, National Account Manager at SOMERSTOTALKARE, explained: "The new equipment provides a reliable and flexible vehicle lifting solution that'll help the depot maintain an efficient operation that ensures trucks are back in service as quickly as possible."

Alongside the investment in Winchester, Dennis Eagle has also ordered two sets of lifts for its Kensington Depot, which services a fleet of 80 vehicles.

As well as ordering the new lifts, Dennis Eagle has also agreed a long-term service and maintenance agreement.

"We can rest assured that, should the lifts require a service or emergency repair, SOMERSTOTALKARE will be on site promptly to carry out the work with no extra costs to ourselves."
