Sherborne Town Football Club delighted as locally based

recyclers M & J Bowers Ltd announced as main sponsor

Yeovil based waste management company M & J Bowers Ltd is delighted to announce that the business has become the main sponsor of Sherborne Town Football Club.

John Bowers, owner and Managing Director says, "We have been involved with Sherborne Town Football Club for a number of years and when we were asked by Club Chairman Steve Paradise if we could step in at the last minute and become the main sponsor of the Club, we were really pleased to take up the opportunity."

As main sponsor, M & J Bowers will have the company name displayed on banners around the ground and on the distinctive Sherborne FC shirts. M & J Bowers is keen to ensure that fans are aware of the great recycling facility based at its Yeovil Centre where anything from books to clothes can be destroyed safely.

Club Chairman Steve Paradise is clearly hoping that the only thing to be destroyed this season will be Sherborne Town's opposition and he said he was delighted with the support M&J Bowers has given to the football club over the last few years and hopes this will be continued into the future.

The 2012/13 season saw Sherborne return to the Premier League at the first time of asking and as First Division Champions; Jamie Manley also won the league's Manager of the Year award.

With some substantial new funding in place, work has already started to improve Sherborne Town FC's club house facilities and to renovate the pitch.

As keen football supporters M & J Bowers also sponsors Yeovil based Pen Mill Football Club as well as the Pen Mill under 9's "Cougars' managed by Simon Brown.
