PRESS RELEASE

Issued 24 January 2014 – for immediate release

TCS&D Awards 2014 get off to a flying start

The announcement that the Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution (TCS&D) Awards will now be an annual event has been warmly welcomed by the industry, with over 200 tickets for seats at the Awards Dinner having been sold within just a few days of the event's launch.

The TCS&D Awards 2014 will reward excellence in the perishable supply chain in a total of 17 categories, with the accolades being presented at a black-tie evening ceremony at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Tuesday 16 September. Explains Richard Cogan, Publisher of Sherwin Publications' TCS&D magazine and organiser of the TCS&D Awards, "We've sold over half of the ticket allocation for the TCS&D Awards Dinner already and also had a great response to the sponsorship opportunities that the event provides."

The TCS&D Awards were launched alongside the TCS&D Show in 2013. Such was the success of the event that Sherwin Publications took the decision to make the TCS&D Awards an annual event, with the TCS&D exhibition still taking place every two years. Continues Richard Cogan, "We've been overwhelmed by the response of the industry. The TCS&D Awards and the black-tie dinner have become a real focal point for this sector, promoting best practice and providing excellent networking opportunities."

The evening will begin with guests being given the chance to peruse what is reputedly the finest and largest collection ofmotorcyclesin the world. They will then enjoy pre-dinner cocktails – sponsored by Gray & Adams – in the Trafalgar Suite, followed by a sumptuous five-course dinner with wine in the Imperial Suite. After this, guests will enjoy an after-dinner entertainer, the awards ceremony and a casino until 2am! Seats at the event, on tables of 10 or 12, cost £125 plus VAT. To book, call 01732 868288 or emailpublisher@tcsandd.com. A choice of hotel accommodation at preferential rates is also available upon request.
