Infrarad introduces Slimline Power Heaters for wide variety of commercial and residential applications
Pictured is the new Slimline Power Heater from Infrarad Ltd.
The new Slimline Power Heater from Infrarad is an efficient and economical answer to heating commercial and residential buildings. It uses a fraction of the energy of conventional heating and so delivers significantly reduced running costs.
These attractive heaters can be installed in domestic areas, hallways and receptions, as well as commercial buildings, offices, churches, schools, gyms, beauty salons and factories - the possibilities are endless. They are the perfect answer for areas which are extremely hard to heat such as garages and community centres or where heating is required outside such as under a canopy to warm restaurant or café seating areas; anywhere with ceilings at least 2.4m high/2.2m clearance from heater.
Slimline Power Heaters employ radiant infrared heat. Each unit, which runs silently and boasts easy installation with minimal maintenance costs, can be situated on a wall or ceiling. It creates an even heat with no damp areas or air movement and therefore no dust movement within the environment. This form of heating even dries out areas which have become moist due to being exposed to the damp or humid air.
Slimline Power Heaters are available with four outputs - 1000w, 1800w, 2400w and 3200w - and run on a standard 240v system. Installation is less complicated than alternative heating systems saving both time and money. The lightweight panels are simply situated on a wall or ceiling at a height no lower than 2200mm and hardwired into a ring main. Universal installation brackets are supplied for all fittings options.
Each unit comes with a fully-programmable thermostat, which can be set between 5c and 35c, and a remote control for ease of operation. The units can be used in multiple applications and run off one control if required.
Slimline Power Heaters use the same technology as the Sun producing rays of heat that radiate off objects within a building. This ongoing cycle generates further heat and subsequent rays to ensure an even and comfortable environment that will heat up a building faster than most commercial heating systems on the market.
To specify this product, the calculation of 25w per m3 is applied. For example, a 1000w unit will heat the area that a 2000w industrial heater would. Therefore installing the 3200w unit is the equivalent to a 6400w convection alternative.
