East London training specialist Quest is delighted to announce the opening of their Pre-Apprenticeship Training Programme at their premises in Green Lane, Dagenham; bringing new opportunities for educational and career progression to local youngsters.

“This programme enables us to increase prospects for local 16-18 year olds that are currently unemployed and not in education or training. We seek to place all our students with local businesses to fulfil Traineeships, Work Placements and Apprenticeships; supporting the economy and enhancing our students’ careers within the community”, explains Kim Knowles, Pre-Apprenticeship Programme Manager at Quest.

Designed to open new doors for those individuals where others have previously closed, Quest’s Pre–Apprenticeship Programme provides vocational qualifications, employability skills, support and guidance, enabling students to successfully progress into employment.

The highly anticipated move was well received by teachers and students alike with the certainty of enhancing their experiences with access to an increased number of classrooms and larger work spaces.

 “Opening our Pre-Apprenticeship Training Programme at our current facilities in Green Lane has allowed us to improve the experience of our students and permitted us to increase our classroom capacity by 100%. This has increased our investment in the local community and nurtured potential opportunities for both students and employers in the area.”
