INNOVATION IN ART EXHIBITION AT LORD WANDSWORTH COLLEGE

An innovative exhibition, "Upper Room" by artist Deborah Last went on show at Lord Wandsworth College last week. The exhibited works combine the techniques of body-printing, sound and figure-drawing to present multiple images of women of different ages, sizes and backgrounds in a configuration which echoes that of Christ and the twelve disciples. Deborah spoke of the unexpected consequences of creating the artworks, "So many of the models left the studio excited and inspired by the process of taking part. All of them spoke of it as a liberating experience."

The exhibition continues until 2 February and is open 9am-5pm in the Prideaux Gallery at Lord Wandsworth College.
