




Southern and east Africa specialist 2by2 Holidays is offering families the chance to go in search of the big five this Easter with a seven-night Cape Town and safari in the malaria-free game reserves of the East Cape.
The seven-night break, which starts at £1,494 per person including flights, features four days exploring Cape Town and the surrounding area before heading off to a malaria-free game lodge near Addo in the beautiful Eastern Cape for a three-night Easter safari.
The Cape Town break includes a stay at:
- Either the Portwood or Commodore on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
- A cable-car ride to the top of Table Mountain.
- An excursion to Camps Bay beach
- A full-day tour to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where two oceans meet and where you may see see baboons, ostrich and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season.
- A visit to Hout Bay and along Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Point, returning via Simons Town, Fish Hoek, Constantia and Kirstenbosch Gardens, with the optional opportunity of visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
- An optional full day tour to the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley. Explore the historic university town of Stellenbosch and several wine estates on this famous wine route, which stretched from Paarl through to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
Three days on safari includes:
- Afternoon game drives on the day of arrival, where game viewing opportunities include antelope, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and all of the big five, including lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino.
- Sun-rise, open-top, game viewing opportunities
- Star-gazing opportunities as the African sun sets.
How much? Prices start at t £1,849 per person including flights. A family of four (two adults and two children) would start at £7,395. All game drives, hotel and lodge transfers are included with three to five-star options. The tour is available as self-drive with car hire, or as an escorted tour
