Wet winter could boost artificial grass sales, experts claim

Natural grass has been adversely affected across most of the UK by high rain levels

RightStep Grass, a popular seller of fake grass, has predicted that sales of artificial turf will continue to grow in the UK this year on the back of a particularly wet last few months.

The company believes that high rain levels witnessed in most of the UK in the first few months of 2014 will be a driving force for people choosing to get rid of their natural grass.

The prediction is based on the fact that millions of people in the UK have had their lawns waterlogged in recent months. A representative for the company said:

“These last few months have been awful for many people in the UK, and for a lot of them the condition of their lawn is the last of their worries, but there are millions in the UK who haven’t been seriously impacted by bad weather but certainly will have muddy and unkempt looking lawns after another winter of prolonged downpour.

“As a result we fully expect that the artificial grass sector will benefit massively this year, especially moving into the summer months as that tends to be the time of year when people are out in their gardens and choose to make changes.”

As one of the leaders in the sector, RightStep Grass is in a good position to comment on industry trends. Continuing, their representative said:

“We’re fully expecting lots of people to realise that real grass requires a lot of maintenance for what are often lacklustre results, resulting in people turning to companies like our own for a garden solution that not only looks amazing but does so all year round whatever the weather and doesn’t require the constant attention and hard work that regular grass does.”

If you’re sick and tired of spending the better part of your summer trying to turn your muddy lawn into healthy looking green grass, RightStep Grass can help:

“We’re one of the leaders in the industry for fake grass products. If you want to do-away with the hassle of tending to your current lawn then we can help you to find an affordable and amazing looking alternative.”

Stockport-based RightStep Grass is one of the biggest suppliers of synthetic grass products in the UK. The company sells online and stocks a wide range of quality alternative turf products.
