WRAS Approval for Flexalen Pipe Range
Flexenergy's Flexalen polybutylene pipe technology has received WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval, enabling every product within the range to be specified for potable water schemes.
The certification has been awarded following extensive testing and covers every size of Flexalen PB water pipe - from 25mm to 110mm - for domestic schemes carrying water up to 85oC.
"The approval means that in addition to being cost effective over the product life-cycle, eco-friendly and highly durable, the Flexalen range can now be considered for just about every domestic potable water project," says Sandy Fairley, Flexenergy Sales Director.
WRAS approval ensures materials compliance with the specification as set out in nationally-approved water regulations governing a product carrying or receiving water from the public mains water supply in the UK. It is a criminal offence if it does not comply with such regulations.
