Icarus from Konigstone's Athena Collection is a stunning quartz surface that mimics the look of natural stone while offering the durability and low maintenance of quartz. The Athena Collection features cold-printed surfaces which capture the intricate details of natural stone remarkably well and, because it is quartz-based, there is freedom to design with sharp edges and tight mitre joints. Here, the extractor cladding stands out, creating the impression of a sculpted, monolithic structure. Icarus is also available in book-matched slabs, like this stunning mirrored design, which adds an organic quality to the wall feature. Using quartz as a splashback brings a sleek and harmonious vibe to the kitchen and a veined surface will make a statement by allowing the design to flow seamlessly from the worktop to the wall. As you can see, you can clad an entire wall along your worktop for an even bolder visual impact.
