Outdoor kitchen space - for so much more than cooking!
Joanne Bull, marketing manager for KönigOutdoor, chats all things outdoor kitchens.
Outdoor kitchens today are about so much more than cooking; if we are lucky, we want to create an outside haven for relaxation and entertaining. We at KönigOutdoor are seeing people wanting separate cooking, bar and dining areas; and looking for a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. That's why we see so many large glass panels and doors leading out into the garden.
In terms of colour finishes, soft colour pallets with muted earthy tones and natural textures like stone and wood-inspired surfaces, are popular.
A KönigOutdoor kitchen can cost as little as £17,500, with our largest project to date retailing at £80,000 although you could easily spend £100,000 and more for the ‘superhome' - think Guy Phoenix! You get what you pay for is the key here; and, being an outside thing, it has to last in our wonderful English weather.
The ideal KönigOutdoor kitchen is bespoke, durable and oozing quality in a porcelain structure which is available in a wide variety of styles. As KönigOutdoor create each kitchen to order, you can design a bespoke outdoor kitchen to exacting specifications. They offer a range of appliance options so you can find your perfect outdoor culinary set-up including Fulgor Milano, Fogher, Wolf Sub-Zero, Blastcool, Beefeater, Delivita, Alfa Forni, Big Green Egg and Kamado Joe.
We have also put together the Koncept range, an outdoor kitchen with a set sleek design to provide all the style and sophistication that retails under £20k. The 3 Koncept modules feature all the essentials including storage, cooking appliance and drinks fridge and are available in 5 finishes.
