AA Projects, a company with a focus on management and
property consultancy, has recently been assisting Working Well Together (WWT),
the country’s leading construction health and safety campaign, raising
awareness of a number of occupational hazards that are faced by workers in the
construction industry on a day to day basis.
To support the WWT campaign, AA Projects has assisted them
in a range of free partnership events, with the aim of highlighting a number of
occupational health issues and to offer a wealth of practical advice to help
minimise the risks associated with working on construction sites.
Steve Silver of AA Projects was recently in Scarborough as
part of the campaign to provide in-depth information on asbestos awareness. The
event is one of many that AA Projects has been involved with already this year.
A representative for the company said:
“Working with WWT has been a very rewarding experience and
one which we’ve enjoyed immensely, not least of which because we’ve been able
to meet a number of likeminded business, organisations and individuals in the
industry.
“We’ve been a big admirer of the WWT campaign and the great
work that they’ve been doing for a number of years and it’s great to get
involved in a way in which we can also make a real difference when it comes to
working conditions on construction sites across the UK.”
WWT was started in 1998 and is one of the most respected
safety initiatives in the industry. With the help of companies like AA
Projects, they aim to improve health and safety knowledge throughout the UK,
encouraging better practices in the construction industry and supporting
workers and businesses in the sector.
AA Projects is a company at the forefront of strategic
management, project management, cost management, building surveying, energy
& sustainability, health & safety, educational services and facilities
management. Visit their website at www.aaprojects.co.uk
