Dr Katerina Steventon announces speakers for national psychodermatology conference

A skincare specialist and director of an industry networking organisation has organised a conference to explore psychodermatology, neurocosmetics and wellbeing.

In her capacity as director, research and innovation pillar for Cosmetics Cluster UK Ltd (CCUK),Dr Katerina Steventon will chair and speak at the one-day ‘Bringing Psychodermatology into Personal Care' conference in Liverpool on 10^thSeptember.

The conference, a combination of lectures, practical sessions, workshops and panel discussions, is designed to appeal to neuroscientists, skincare innovators, regulators, ingredient suppliers and brands.

The speakers include representatives from No. 7, Croda, Unilever and This Works. Dr Steventon will do a practical session on The Art of Science and Touch.

"Psychodermatology explores the dynamic interplay between mind and skin, offering a powerful framework for advancing personal care innovation. This in-person meeting will bring beauty industry professionals together to translate cutting-edge research into actionable product concepts, to clarify the regulatory landscape and to create a shared lexicon, defining terminology from neurocosmetics to emotional beauty," said Dr Steventon.

The conference takes place between 10 am and 4.30 pm on 10^thSeptember at Spine, Liverpool. Tickets cost £75 for CCUK members and £150 for non-members. They are available online from https://bit.ly/CCUKConf.

She has pioneered the integration of psychodermatology into personal care, merging skin health with emotional well-being to empower consumers and brands.
