Yorkshire Garden Centre group provides plants and people for TV garden makeover
A Huddersfield mother and daughter received a heartfelt garden makeover thanks to respected horticulturalist and TV gardener, David Domoney, and a team of volunteers from Pennine Garden Centre at Shelley.
Mr. Domoney, resident gardener on ITV’s This Morning programme, came to the rescue of Andrea Turner, whose dream of creating a garden oasis to enjoy with her terminally ill mother was ruined by a faulty garden furniture delivery. Having done a Masterclass with Pennine’s owners, Yorkshire Garden Centres, earlier in the year, he appealed to the team at Shelley to provide plants and people to help the makeover happen.
The team at Pennine Garden Centre supplied over £1,000 of plants and a team of eight, including Yorkshire Garden Centres’ Commercial Plant Manager, Marc Salama, Marketing Content and Campaign Manager, Harriet Hardiment and five members of the Pennine team, to help transform the garden into a holiday-inspired outdoor living space.
