Eyebrow transplants on the rise, says FUE Hair Clinics®
Studies show that eyebrow operations have grown rapidly in the last few years

One of the UK’s best known providers of FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) transplants, FUE Hair Clinics®, has reported that the number of people undergoing eyebrow operations is continuing to rise.

FUE Hair Clinics® is a standout in the FSI (Follicular Strip Extraction), FUI (Follicular Unit Extraction) and FUE sector. They help hundreds of people each year, employing their expertise in hair, beard and eyebrow transplants to give people new-found confidence in their appearance.

The company has announced that eyebrow procedure queries have grown substantially this year.

“Recently, we’ve seen something of an explosion in unconventional hair loss procedures, with thousands of people across the country undergoing the FUE process to fill-in their eyebrows and beards. Consultations are up at all of our premises. People are beginning to realise that they don’t have to suffer in silence with low self-esteem on account of patchy, sparse hair.” said a representative.

Their experience is backed by a Transform study which was released earlier this year and showed that enquiries were up 45% since 2010.

FUE Hair Clinics® believes that the reasons for a surge in eyebrow transplants is three-fold, with advancements in technology, increased media coverage and a fall in prices coming together to persuade more people to have the operation.

“Eyebrow procedures have been given a lot more exposure in recent years in the media which has undoubtedly helped, as has popular celebrities with fuller eyebrows such as Cara Delevigne and Emilia Clarke being in the public eye,” explained a representative. “Other reasons for the current torrent of interest include the fact that hair loss technologies have come on leaps and bounds in recent years while simultaneously falling in price and becoming more affordable for the average Briton.”

So how does it work? Well, the process involves taking individual hairs from your scalp and transplanting them to your brows. It’s a relatively quick and easy procedure when compared to traditional hair transplants, with the only downside being that the transplanted hair will grow longer than your natural eyebrow hair and will therefore require frequent eyebrow trims to keep it looking in tip top shop.

“The procedure is very straightforward and requires much less in the way of time and effort to complete. It’s also pain and scar free while being reasonably priced, which has helped the procedure a lot in the popularity stakes.”
