BACKGROUND
Formerly a nature conservationist having leant her expertise to BBC wildlife presenters and government agencies, Charron hangs up the binoculars and launches her professional painting career as she wishes to share her beautiful and bold large canvases with the world.
Charron has strong connections with The Great War Society and is planning to be an artist in residence in Mons, Belgium in the month of August where she will paint the camps and countryside as war artists have done before her.
The National Trust has commissioned her as Artist in Residence in Lyveden New Bield, Northamptonshire.
KILLER FACTS
Artwork was displayed at a psychiatric ward and subsequently, Charron learnt that her work had in fact saved a patient's life: "Staring at the painting every day gave her hope and positivity".
A long career in wildlife conservation took Charron all across the globe to many exotic and surreal places, many of which she reflects upon in her paintings.
Charron's quirky and cheerful designs are selected by soft furnishings retailers so customers can enjoy her artwork in different compositions.
