Infarad's major shareholder announces energy efficiency collaboration for the UK and China

The major shareholder of heating products supplier Infarad, AVIC International Renewable Energy Co, signed a memorandum of understanding with SDCL Asia on 23rdApril 2014. This will see collaboration in the UK China Energy Efficiency Investments Fund with an overall investment programme of up to US$200 million expected over three years.
With an investment of £14 million, AVIC's first UK project is the recently purchased, 12 MWp Spriggs Farm Solar Park in Saffron Walden, Essex.
Infrarad offers three ranges of highly efficient infrared heating panels that consume half the energy required by conventional radiators. New to the UK, the innovative panels emitted energy in the form of infrared rays which heat only the solid objects they land on including the room's occupants.
