Infrarad installed in new purpose-built headquarters

Stylish, good looking and highly efficient space heating that consumes half the energy required to run conventional radiators is available from a new UK company, Infrarad.

 There are currently four ranges of infrared panels available - Contract, Designer, Curve and Slimline Power Heater - with many more in the pipeline.

 Launched at the beginning of 2014, the company's headquarters in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire are now fully operational. The premises comprise approx..5000 sq. ft of warehousing and office space.

 Peter Ferguson, Infrarad's MD, comments: "We have targeted the independent sector and since being fully operational from March this year we have opened up over 300 accounts across the UK with plumbing and heating merchants, bathroom retailers, selected electrical wholesalers and a few kitchen studios. We hope to be up and running with NMBS as a supplier by July1st and this will allow us to open up a few more accounts in areas where we need good stockists. The opportunity for the merchant to earn healthy margins with a heating product is now a reality and this product is in demand, after all, who wouldn't want a heating product that is going to reduce their energy consumption by up to 50%+ ? We have a fully stocked warehouse and we can generally turn orders round in 24hours anywhere in mainland GB and it is this sort of service that we thrive on.

It is our intention to expand the current range over the summer months and introduce infrared glass, granite and mirror radiators for living areas and this really will give the consumer a fantastic range of choice from our standard Contract radiator through to some real classy radiators all at affordable prices. Alongside this is the commercial Slimline Power Heater which really has set the world alight and we have just about managed to keep up with demand.

It's still early days but we have a healthy customer base of forward thinking merchants and retailers and the future is looking pretty good for us all".
