Boulting wins top skills and training award
Earlier this year Boulting Group, the North West based engineering company, won the ‘ECITB Skills and Training Charter for a Large Employer Award' in recognition of their continued investment and development in the skills of their workforce.
Terry Marston, Director of Boulting Group, commented, ‘We develop an annual training plan and are committed to a significant and specific training plan for employees working in the offshore, oil and gas industry.
‘This is a relatively new market for the company but we are determined our team continues to develop the required skills, knowledge and understanding, as well as being fully qualified.'
‘We are committed to the goals of the Skills and Training Charter, and offer opportunities to apprentices and adults alike, with graduate programmes in three key areas; Systems Integration, Pump Systems and Project Control,' he added.
‘We were up against some pretty big hitters for this award and I am so proud of the team and what has been achieved,' concluded Marston. ‘It is testimony to theirdetermination to succeed and I could not be more delighted.'
