Abacus Manufacturing Group is spotlighting the stunning Lustrolite range at the 100% Design Show this September. Appearing on stand number K133, the easy-to-install, acrylic glass-effect Lustrolite panels can be seen in seven beautiful colours for both kitchens and bathrooms.
Exciting innovations in the range, which was introduced in 2013, include new matching colour profiles, a kitchen splashback range, an aluminium pan protector product for kitchens and matching coloured glass for use with gas hobs.
Lustrolite high gloss acrylic wall panelling has many benefits for the retailer and installer trade. It looks the same as glass but weighs less than a third of a traditional glass sheet and has 20 times the impact strength.
It's also safe, hygienic and can be cut and drilled on site, saving time for both installer and customer. Lustrolite requires no templating and can be installed as soon as kitchen worktops and cabinets arrive on site. Equally, any changes can be made on site without delay for the customer. Installers can invoice quicker and customers get the desired glass effect without the wait.Lustrolite can be used to update old or tired kitchen splashbacks, showers and bathroom walls and can be installed quickly and easily over new or existing wall finishes. Lustrolite is highly resistant to harsh chemicals due to its unique hard-coated surface, which gives the panel a high heat and thermal shock resistance and also makes the panel impervious to moisture.
There's nothing else like it on the market and an average panel takes about a third of the time of ceramic tiles to install.
This truly unique product has added advantages for the consumer, too, with a choice of seven designer colours in three bathroom and four kitchen sizes - Arctic, Glacier, Blue Atoll, Rouge, Mocha, Titan and Carbon - as well as the benefit that its non-stick surface prevents the growth of mould and bacteria as well as soap or calcium build-up making it easy to clean with warm water and a soft microfiber cloth. It's also highly resistant to scratches and stains and won't crack, warp or discolour from normal residential or commercial use.
