Set up creative lighting and power schemes with a Smart Wire-Free Switch
New LightwaveRFswitch links to multiple devices and can be located anywhere
Leading British Smart Home technology designer LightwaveRF has announced details of its new Wire-Free Switch, which, for safety and convenience, can be located anywhere in a room and can control multiple LightwaveRF devices. This switch (which resembles the LightwaveRF dimmer switches) requires no cabling and works in the same way as a remote control, except that it is more practical because it attaches to the wall.
The Wire-Free Switch can control any number of LightwaveRF sockets and dimmers from the most convenient location. For example, bedroom lights can be operated by a Wire-Free Switch which is located on the wall next to the bed. The switch is also battery operated and low-voltage so it can be safely fitted in bathrooms where regulations would prohibit the use of mains powered switches. It will screw onto any standard back box or can be applied to a wall or flat surface using the adhesive strips provided.
The Wire-Free Switch is just one of the elements in the comprehensive LightwaveRF range, which allows complete control of home lighting, power and heating devices, using a hand held remote controller, or over the Internet using a Smartphone or Tablet. Home owners using this advanced family of wirelessly controlled devices can therefore select, schedule or control any linked device within the home environment from within the home, the office, the car, or anywhere in the world which has Internet access.
The LightwaveRF 1-Gang Wire-Free Switch retails at around £29.99 and is available in a 1-gang and 2-gang option and in four different finishes. Full details on where to buy from: http://www.megamanuk.com/lightwaverf/products/where-to-buy/
