Glittering plan to recycle bric-a-brac

RECYCLNG odds and ends into fashionable jewellery is the sparkling idea behind a one-day course in Stafford.

Offered by Stafford And Rural Homes (SARH) as part of its community learning programme, the project aims to turn buttons, beads, wire, feathers, and felt into arty brooches.

Free of charge, and open to all SARH clients and those living in SARH neighbourhoods, the event runs from 9am-1pm at Thirlmere Way Day Centre, off Merrivale Road, on Wed, July 30.

Equipment is provided, but feel free to bring along items to add that personal touch.

Further information about the event is available by calling 0800 111 4554.
