K3 Syspro looks to the future with new Managing Director
Business solutions provider K3 Syspro (K3) is looking to the future after appointing a new Managing Director who will oversee future development of the brand and its services.
Cathie Hall has been made Managing Director of the company and will be responsible for spearheading the company's service offering to the manufacturing and distribution sectors. Cathie brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked in ERP throughout her career.
Cathie commented: "As always, K3 Syspro is focused on delivering a solution that meets the objectives of the SYSPRO community and streamlines business operations every day. We do this by focusing on being one team; one team working together within K3 Syspro, one team working with businesses throughout the wider K3 group, and one team working as part of a global community of SYSPRO users. Former K3 Syspro Managing Director Andy Latham is now heading up the new K3 Group Manufacturing and Distribution Division and will continue to maintain an active and influential role within K3 Syspro.
Cathie's appointment comes at an exciting time as the UK economy is set to grow by three per cent in 2014, the fastest rate of any developed Western country, and this is largely being attributed to a growing manufacturing industry. Employment growth in the sector has reached a four-year high according to recent figures from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), as the recent reshoring trend brings more work to UK production plants.
K3 Syspro has been providing a range of business solutions including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence (BI) and financial solutions to manufacturing and distribution companies for over twenty years. The company's latest offering, SYSPRO 7, is already earning plaudits around the globe after recently being nominated for a host of awards including a Golden Gate Award and an American Business Award.
