NFS Technology Group helping Giraffe Restaurants to
bolster UK presence
Giraffe Restaurants, a popular restaurant and cafe chain,
has chosen NFS Technology Group to help the company deliver unrivalled customer
experience, streamline operations and expand their presence throughout the
country.
Giraffe was launched by Russel Joffe and his wife Juliette
in 1998. The company has grown quickly within the last 16 years, with 60
outlets across the country, the majority of which are located in London,
England. Two other restaurants are located in Dubai.
The award winning chain is best known for its mouth watering
selection of quality world foods and fantastic music. In 2013, Tesco acquired
the burgeoning chain for a sum of £48.6 million – a move which is expected to
see the popular restaurant and cafe launching new eateries in larger Tesco
stores.
Beginning an enterprising expansion programme throughout the
United Kingdom, the company will utilise state of the art Aloha restaurant POS
systems provided by NFS Technology Group.
NFS will provide a comprehensive service which will
effectively integrate all key aspects of Giraffe Restaurants’ day-to-day
business operations, including labour management, table service, quick service,
head office management and stock control, amongst others.
Juliette Joffe expressed the company’s excitement at the
prospect of realising a superior service, better cost management and higher
revenue streams, commenting: “We are looking forward to working with a truly
professional company and taking our epos system to a new level.”
Luis De Souza, NFS Chief Executive Officer, was also excited
by the partnership:
“NFS is very excited about working with giraffe, a growing
restaurant operator ideally suited to a solution like Aloha, a leader in
restaurant technology.
“We are extremely engaged with a giraffe in all its
requirements to build a complete restaurant management solution around Aloha,
incorporating mobile solutions, credit cards, loyalty cards and a great reporting
platform. With Aloha and its associated technology rolled out across the
Giraffe chain, restaurant managers will see significant benefits in terms of a
common approach and delivery of critical business information.
“We are also associated with other Tesco brand, including
Euphorium Bakery and Fred’s New York-style diner. We are delighted to have now
taken this association a major step forward with the rollout of Aloha across
all new giraffe restaurants.”
