Boulting Group appoint Group Health and Safety Manager
North West based engineering company Boulting Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Ratcliffe to the position of Group Health and Safety Manager.
An electrician by trade, Ratcliffe's career development, involving long spells with AstraZeneca and Sygenta, includes project management in the construction engineering sector.
His responsibilities include overseeing eight health and safety advisors, throughout the UK and overseas. This team includes experience and technical knowledge within civil, electrical, mechanical sectors and the national grid.
‘I was attracted to join Boultings because of their considerable reputation across a diverse range of engineering sectors,' commented Gary. ‘They consistently work for a range of blue chip companies and are growing. The business also has significant ambitions for the nuclear sector and this is an exciting company to work for,' he added.
Terry Marston, Executive Director at Boulting Group, commented on the appointment. ‘Gary is highly qualified for this very important role. We plan to maintain a robust safety management system and strive for continuous improvement.
‘We are also in a very dynamic sector and H&S needs to continue to adapt to clients' requirements. Gary is key to this by implementing a positive intervention approach, from planning and design through to implementation and maintenance across the group,' concluded Marston.
