New Capital Sales Engineer for the North East 

Thorite, the UK's biggest independent distributor of pneumatic products and process systems, has appointed James Connor (26) to the position of Capital Sales Engineer for the North East region. 

James began his career in the army, serving as a Sapper with the Royal Engineers for 6 years before joining a well known local pneumatics company where he gained valuable experience of both pneumatic systems and businesses in the area. He will now be responsible for capital equipment sales and service contracts for Thorite's many industrial, manufacturing and processing customers in the North East, based at the company's busy Sales and Service Centre in North Shields. 

Speaking of his appointment James said: "I'm really looking forward to the fresh challenges that will be a big part of joining such a successful and respected company. I'm confident that both my military and commercial experience will provide a valuable foundation to help advance my future career with Thorite." 

James lives in County Durham and splits his leisure between watching & playing football and spending time with his partner and young daughter Lola.
