Scare Kingdom Press Night Invitation

Scare Kingdom Scream Park is back...and we want YOU to be the amongst the first to brave it!

The UK’s best scream park returns for it’s sixth year with all new, even more horrific attractions for you to brave

[17/09/2014] Scare Kingdom Scream Park returns for its sixth season and this time they’ve pushed the boundaries even further than before. New attractions, new stories, new characters and new ideas make this years horror experience even more intense, petrifying and unique than ever. We’d like to invite you along to our limited access press night so you can preview what the unique Lancashire scream park is offering to thrill-seeking adrenaline junkies, horror buffs and the fearless amongst us this October/November.

The unique Lancashire scream park entertains thousands of guests every year with their sellout seasonal scare events at Halloween, Christmas and Valentines as well as hosting the world’s first overnight fright-filled camping experience, Horror Camp LIVE! during the summer months. The park offers guests an original and seriously twisted live horror experience combining live scareactors, special effects and heart-pumping thrills, across all-new scare attractions and experiences.

Following a major investment of £250,000 in 2013, Scare Kingdom was presented with an ‘Excellence in Design’ award, the first time in history for an attraction in Europe, for their installation of the UK’s newest permanent scare attraction, Manormortis. They also unlocked their extreme full contact scare experience, Psychomantuem, which went on to achieve worldwide notoriety and was named ‘The UK’s Sickest Attraction’ by The Sun. Psychomanteum returns once again this year, and is taking fear to an entirely new level, never before seen outside of America.

Jason Karl, Chief Creative Executive for AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment, the team behind Scare Kingdom Scream Park, said;

“We have spent the last six months thinking outside the coffin to make sure that 2014 is our scariest season yet. With our brand new Manormortis attraction and our infamous and unique Psychomanteum, guests in 2014 are in for a shocking and terrifying journey!”

When you arrive at the park you will begin your experience with a Scare Kingdom style welcome, being banged up inside The Oubliette for an appointment with the Minister of Fear. You will then be taken on a snaking trek in total darkness, where The Slenderman’s faceless minions fester among the corn-less husks in The Clonefields. In Hellcatraz it’s dog eat dog, as you’re processed into the world’s most infamous penitentiary, a chaotic, unique black and white nightmare. The journey continues with a visit to the house that should never have been built and won’t stay dead, as the vengeful sorceress Tituba and The Sisters of The Black Flame weave a web of dark magic, luring unwary mortals into Manormortis Covenstead, where darkness falls. You will then be forced to break into the secret vault of the monstrous psycho-genius Volka Schlachten, and crawl through the trap infested abomination known as the Human Zoo. Finally, Big King Dickie, the ‘Shake-scare-ean’ King, along with the sinister spirit medium Penny Dreadful, and her creator – the ghost writer William Strange - allow you recover in our licensed Brouhaha Bar.

Those who dare can also endure Psychomanteum: Deeper Treatment – a personal, adults-only sensory-deprived psychosexual scare experience set in an all-new seriously twisted correctional facility, that you’ll face alone.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park is located at Hawkshaw Farm Park, minutes from the M6 junction 31 on the A59 near Preston and Blackburn in Lancashire, UK. The press night is on October 10th from 6pm. Confirmation of attendance is essential.
